Cleats4Cause is committed to breaking down financial barriers to youth soccer participation by collecting and donating gently used cleats and soccer gear to communities in need.
Through partnerships with local clubs and schools, and by organizing community-driven donation drives, we aim to make soccer more accessible for everyone.
Cleats4Cause envisions a more inclusive youth sports community and advances that vision by removing financial barriers to participation. Through the collection and redistribution of cleats and athletic gear; beginning with soccer and expanding to other sports, we help ensure every child has the opportunity to play.
The Power of Soccer: Soccer is more than just a sport—it’s a source of hope, teamwork, and inspiration. It brings people together and teaches life skills such as discipline, perseverance, and teamwork. For many children, having the chance to play on a team and feel like they belong can be life changing.
Impact of Equipment Donations:
Boosts Confidence: Playing with the right gear can make children feel valued and capable, boosting their self-esteem.
Participation: Proper equipment helps ensure safety and allows kids to play more frequently and effectively.
Strengthens Communities: By supporting young athletes, we have a sense of community pride and encouragement that extends beyond the field.

Recognizing Cleats4Cause for youth leadership, community service, and expanding access to sports.
Cleats4Cause began by collecting and redistributing soccer cleats and gear to children who needed them.
In 2024, while traveling to India, I noticed children playing soccer barefoot: full of passion and raw talent, yet without proper equipment. After volunteering at a small soccer workshop, I was struck by the contrast between their reality and ours, where cleats are often outgrown and discarded. That experience inspired me to start collecting and redistributing gently used soccer gear. What began overseas soon expanded to my hometown of Tampa and later to parts of Africa where I saw the same talent limited by lack of access. The goal was simple: give kids the tools they need to play, grow, and be seen.
As the soccer initiative gained momentum through donations and community partnerships, I realized the model could extend beyond one sport. Seeing similar access gaps in baseball, I teamed up with a friend who plays the sport to bring the effort to Tampa. We organized workshops around school baseball games, spread awareness, and built local donation drives. Today, the baseball program runs alongside soccer—proof that a simple idea, rooted in access and equity, can grow across sports and communities.
A local initiative with growing reach through trusted partnerships.
Cleats4Cause, we want to say a big thank you! We really appreciate it. This will go a long way with the smiles on the faces of these kids. God bless you.
